One of the best decisions I ever made in my life was the decision to be happy. We all search for it, yet sometimes, it seems to impossible to obtain.
Many of us just go through life just passing the days.
I recently realized I, myself, was guilty of this. I was going though my work week, waiting anxiously for two days to come...the weekend. Then I realized, I was only taking advantage of about EIGHT days out of the month. That's only about ONE QUARTER OF MY LIFE.
When I got home from work, I was tired, and what made me even more tired, was the thought of having to return to work the next day. I quickly realized, I need to re-focus myself.
Although being cognizant of the future, is important for planning purposes, it's also crucial to learn how to live in the moment. Yes we must learn from the past, but we don't need to live in it.
Happiness comes in many forms, and I encourage you to take the time to listen to yourself, find out what makes you happy, and nourish your soul. You deserve it.
