I was born and raised in Miami, and quickly realized as a teenager that I wanted to be a counselor. I received a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2010, and received my master's in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech in 2012. Since then, I've been lucky enough to work with individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings, from all walks of life, with an array of mental health struggles. My current practice focuses on helping clients 13 and up that are struggling with mood management, low self-worth, co-dependency and/or life adjustments, as well as those that really want to do a deep dive on learning about themselves to better understand how to bring more joy and meaning to their lives.
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time focusing on my own wellness. Some of those things include, going to the gym, enjoying a cup of tea at home, or kayaking one of the beautiful springs in Central Florida. I also love spending time with my queen of a dog, Kona.
